Upon learning that I was a Trichocereus aficionado, a kindly cactus wholesaler presented me with a small tip cutting of this extremely rare species as a gift. This was the first I'd heard of T. Brevispinulosis, and I have been able to find precious little information about the species since; anyone with accurate data, please e-mail me. I am especially interested as to whether or not this plant is of any ethnobotanical or phytochemical interest.
